1807 Ross Avenue is a George Dahl mid-century landmark in the Dallas Arts District, one block from Klyde Warren Park and next door to 1900 North Akard. Built in 1962 as the Southwestern Life headquarters and renovated in 2009, the five-story, 250,000-square-foot building is clad in white marble, with a sculptural metal screen at the entry and the M-Line trolley at the curb.
Inside, large floor plates and distinctive finishes serve creative and corporate users, including Hunt affiliates, Visit Dallas, data centers and technical labs, and the Fashion Industry Gallery — home to Dallas’s wholesale fashion market, a 25,000-square-foot loft event space, and the Dallas Art Fair. A landscaped promenade opens onto Henry C. Beck Jr. Park, giving the address downtown presence at street level.
